21 weeks

Baby's now the size of a banana!

Baby's digestive system is busy creating meconium (a tarry black substance made of swallowed amniotic fluid, digestive secretion, and dead cells), which will fill the first diaper after birth. 

or for those not familiar with the fruit variety ... thebump has given us some new (supposed to be dad-related) references. HA!

Week 21: ’80s Fanny Pack

Average size: 10.5 inches, 12.7 ounces

Whoa! Baby grew about 4 inches in one week.

How far along: 21 weeks.

Total weight gain: won't find out until next week but i can guarantee it's at least a pound this time. fat mama has eaten WAY too much crap lately.

Maternity clothes: still not entirely there yet, i hate maternity bands. <--yup nbsp="" p="">

Stretch marks: nothing new.

Sleep: ok .. minus peeing at least once.

Best moment of this week: kullen feeling the baby kick!

Miss anything:  sure, of course.

Movement: oh yes, quite often! :)

 Food cravings: still junk.

Anything making you queasy or sick: nope.

Have you started to show yet: yeh.

Gender: boy!

Labor signs: nope!

Belly button in or out: still in .. somewhat.

Wedding rings on or off: on, always.

Happy or moody most of the time: ehh .. might have to go with moody this week. :/ 

Looking forward to: picking a name!

we are getting closer to a name, at least i think. we have a few that we like with one being pretty high on our list. excited to share once we decide!

i had my first scary experience on memorial day. i was having constant cramping - almost like period cramps and really weird colored pee. then i thought about the past two days and how i drank absolutely no water. i thought i could be somewhat dehydrated. i started chugging water and wouldn't ya know ... the cramping went away and pee turned back to it's normal coloration. phew. don't forget to drink water, kaley! 

i'm also having CRAZY pregnancy dreams. i mean, craaaaaaaaazy. most of the time i can remember them but couldn't dare describe them to anyone without stumbling all over the place.
