Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey - review!

Did you make it to the circus this weekend? I am so grateful that we got to attend OPENING NIGHT! It was just amazing! I was worried that the boys wouldn't love it as much after last years amazing show, but I was proved wrong. They thoroughly loved the show and everything about it. Kullen was slightly disappointed that there wasn't dirt bikes this year but he loved the acrobats jumping on trampolines and through windows in sync.

[check out my big boy and his missing tooth!]

I know some people are skeptical of the circus and the relationship with Elephants but let me just tell you, this was one of the greatest elephant shows that I have seen. They paid such tribute and honor to them as it is their last "go round" with the circus. It was such a privilege to see them up close and personal this one last time. Me and my children will always have that great memory of the circus elephants!

and also, can we talk about the Pre-Media event! WOW! RBBB and Feld really out did themselves. They wined and dined us, hooked the kids up with face-paintings, sweets and treasures to take home! It was truly THE BEST!

This was the first year that I remember seeing Camels and they were so neat! The boys LOVED that part!

The balancing acts always give me a little scare but never disappoint! They definitely know what they're doing!

And of course, my favorite - THE TIGERS! Something about their sassiness and the way the trainer speaks - I just love it all. I always think "this is it, this tiger is going to go nuts!" but they never do. They are definitely well trained and loved by all!

Did you miss "The Great Show on Earth" at the Verizon Center? No worries!!! They'll be in Fairfax, VA at thePatriot Center April 6-17th!! CLICK HERE for tickets!

Big thank you to FELD ENTERTAINMENT for hosting the Media Pre-Event. My boys had a blast meeting some of the cast and playing with the other children!

Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey [review]

to say my boys had a great time at the Circus would be an understatement! For them, it really is "The Greatest Show on Earth!" They loved the clowns, the animals, the stunts and everything else in between!

and okay, lets face it - I think that too. where else can I rock blue hair and FIT IN! :D

we loved seeing the clowns come out and get the show started! Kullen loved to look in our commemorative book and pointing out which clown he saw!

and these girls inside the balls hanging from the ceiling were amazing. Neither of my boys could figure out how they got in there!

another fun thing to see was all these people piling onto two bicycles. Kullen kept saying "I can't believe it!!!"

this was very well the boys favorite part. watching these dirt bikes go in this giant ball and ride around was intense. there got to be EIGHT inside that ball - we just couldn't believe it!

of course, this was probably my favorite. i love the mans voice and the drama that enfolds when at least one of the big cats don't listen to him and swipe him.

and what show isn't complete without a unicorn and a pegasus! (rhys' favorite for sure!)

Did you miss "The Great Show on Earth" at the Verizon Center? No worries!!! They'll be in Fairfax, VA at the Patriot Center April 8-12 and April 16-19!! CLICK HERE for tickets!
