easter

easter highlights via pictures.
the kids loved the easter bunny!
kullen enjoyed dying eggs - and eating them -
both boys loved their baskets!
we had a great time. went to the MIL's for dinner. had a big easter egg hunt and kullen kicked butt, even found THE golden egg! 

 note to self: next year, take a family picture earlier in the day!

and then ... cousin thomas and grandma spun kullen on this swing for like 20 minutes.

and THEN ... he threw up his easter dinner.

egg dying!

as a 26yr old adult - i don't think i've ever dyed an easter egg!

[parents - correct me if i'm wrong!]

from memory, it wasn't a tradition on our house but i wanted it to become one for the Poags'! 

we got our kits and boiled our eggs and sat down thinking how perfect this would be.

 orrrr because he thinks they're bubbles! HAHA!

 and this is what our egg-dying adventure turned into. kullen squishing perfectly good eggs and playing in the dye [and spilling about 3 colors in the process!]

here's hoping next year is a little better!

at least we got some purdy eggs :)
