26 weeks

HAPPY 4th OF JULY!

Your baby's the size of a head of lettuce!

He's still growing in the 13.6- to 14.8-inch and 1.5- to 2.5-pound range, and developing his senses, features and talents!

How far along: 26 weeks.

Total weight gain: too much i'm sure but i'll find out for sure on tuesday.

Maternity clothes: i prefer elastic waist haha

Stretch marks: yeah yeah yeah.

Sleep: i love sleep - although still suffering from a bit of insomnia now and again.

Best moment of this week: i guess NOT going into real labor? haha

Miss anything:  sure, especially today. haha

Movement: yes, squirmy baby.

 Food cravings: breakfast. 

Anything making you queasy or sick: nope.

Have you started to show yet: yeh.

Gender: boy!

Labor signs: yes. well ... kind of. i've been having contractions and had a little scare on tuesday.

Belly button in or out: kinda flat. haha

Wedding rings on or off: on, always.

Happy or moody most of the time: both this week .. depends on day and hour and minute.

Looking forward to: doctors on tuesday? haha

so on tuesday - i had a little scare. we had a busy day with rhys' allergy appointment and then trying to rush in rain to get to an appointment for kullen (which ended up being rescheduled but i still had to drive home from rhys' appt in a downpour!) - then i had to run out to target to get a prescription lotion for rhys .. they told me 20 minutes so i walked around and checked back in 20 - and they said it'd be right up. 20 minutes from then, it was. but not before i dropped my phone while paying for it and shattered the front screen. AWESOME.
then i get home and make dinner, bathe the kids and finally decide to lay down for a minute because i was having noticeable contractions (BHs). so, after a little bit of them still coming every 2/3 minutes and not stopping - i started to get scared. 40 minutes passed like this but the contractions were not getting worse - just remaining consistent so i didn't want to panic. i decided to get up and walk around a bit and then lay back down and if they weren't gone by 8:30, i was going to go to the hospital. LUCKILY - they eased up a bit. they didn't quite go away but they weren't consistent and only had a couple more before bed.
since then - i've been having them here and there but nothing like tuesday night. can't wait to bring it up to my doctor to see what he thinks.

aside from that ... not much else. 
glucose test on tuesday so THAT'LL be fun. although i really don't mind the hawaiian punch like drink. haha 

and then i scheduled a 4d sonogram for later this month. through a facebook contest i won a 50% off prize - so i booked on a monday which already has a half price special so i'm getting half off the already half off :) can't beat it. and i'm excited to see my little man again!  hopefully by then we can announce his name!
