a growing baby ...

my boy has grown SO much in a matter of just a couple of weeks. i can't believe the growth and changes that have happened right in front of my eyes! i wish everyone cared as much as i did when it comes to him ... but i guess i have to understand that nobody cares like a mother! things that are HUGE to me, don't seem to be recognized or appreciated by others and i need to understand that! i also need to understand that between adam and myself - that boy has enough love to last a lifetime, and that although not all my family sees him much - that doesn't mean they love him any less. ah, the heartbreat of having family all over the place. what's really heartbreaking is that sometimes opportunities are right there - and don't get taken advantage of. people don't even care it seems ... or just have better things to do with their time than to meet/play with/get to know a child. but i guess its just the way it goes ... when kullen is older and doesn't know half his family - only they will have blame ... but ah, thats a whole different topic that i won't go any further into. the point of my blog was to share kullens recent accomplishments with those that DO care ;)
we went to connecticut for easter - and dedicated him back to God. I fully understand that a child is a blessing from God and without Him - kullen would not be here. So i felt it was only right to show God how appreciative i was - and give kullen back. :) i'm glad my grandy got to do this!

also - while we were in CT, it seemed as if kullen magically learned to pull up on EVERYTHING available to him! he had been doing it a little bit at the house, but nothing like he was in CT! talk about a handful - he is pulling up on everything and climbing all over you, if you let him :)

i took lil ham to the park on monday and while we was enjoying the swing - i noticed that his two front teeth [top] are coming in!!! ahh! this explains his crankiness!! but despite - he LOVES the swing :)

yesterday, lil man even stood by himself for a brief second before flopping to the ground! it's only a matter of time before he is walking on his own ... man, do i want my baby back!although, he made an appearance during the night! he was running a fever so i put him in bed with me ... and in his sleep, he got up on all fours (like to crawl) and made his way over to me .. and put his head on my stomach and just slept like that :) although i was tiredddd - i layed there, cherishing this sweet moment :) he still had a fever this morning so it was hard to leave him, but i had to get back to work! being off the last 2 days spoiled me ... but i'm glad i got to spend the time with my kullen!
i also got to see him go from laying on his stomach, to sitting position yesterday :) i immediately text adam who figured he wouldn't get to see anytime soon - but sure enough, when adam got home from school - kullen showed him what he had taught himself :) hehe!
okay, enough bragging about my son! haha!

i vow to blog again soon!

OK ..... let me say this ...you and Adam are great parents and you are right some family members dont SEEM to care but you know you having Kullen is one of the proudest moments in my life and I love him with all my heart and will always recognise and I appreciate everything he does, even though I cant be around him as much as I would like I Love Him To Death and you are right when he is older they will have no one to blame but themselves.....

Girl, this entire post practically had me in tears. I SO know what you mean about people not caring. As Mothers, we can't even begin to understand how our child could seem so insignificant to others. But know this, Kullen is one loved little boy by the Scheungrabs for SURE. :D Your little ham makes my life so much better..with everything that's been going on lately, I know I can always count on his toothy grins to make me smile. :)
I hope you know there isn't a day that goes by that I'm not completely aware of how blessed I am that you allow me to share in so much of his life. You guys have all been a huge blessing to us.

Andddd you all look so proud at his dedication, as you should. =) That's such a beautiful thing.
That little man is so blessed God chose you to be his parents too. ;)
